Oman Rejects Mandatory Strait of Hormuz Transit Fees, Proposes Voluntary Service Model
Oman has rejected mandatory transit fees for the Strait of Hormuz, instead proposing voluntary service arrangements modelled on the Strait of Malacca system. The stance was declared at the IMO Council's 137th session in London.
