Malaysia Strengthens Universal Service Framework With National Security Amendment Bill
Malaysia has tabled the Communications and Multimedia (Amendment) Bill 2026, which empowers the Communications Minister to direct the MCMC to support universal service initiatives deemed necessary for national security purposes.
