Chinese villager loses nose saving woman from attacker, honoured as national hero
A 69-year-old Chinese volunteer mediator has been recognised as a national hero after losing most of his nose while overpowering an attacker threatening a woman's life in April. Despite severe injury, Zeng Fanlin held the suspect until police arrived.
