Malaysia's 8,615 Neighbourhood Watch Groups to Receive 67% Funding Boost
The government will raise annual funding for Malaysia's 8,615 neighbourhood watch groups (KRT) from RM6,000 to RM10,000, effective January 1, 2027. The move aims to strengthen grassroots unity initiatives and community development programmes across the country.
