Statistics Bill 2026 to be Gazetted by Year-end, Says Economy Minister
Malaysia's Statistics Bill 2026 has cleared the Dewan Rakyat and is heading to the Upper House next week. Minister Akmal Nasrullah expects the legislation to be gazetted by year-end, replacing a 61-year-old statistics framework.
