Thailand Pushes Bangkok–Phitsanulok High-Speed Rail With Japan Backing
Thailand's Ministry of Transport is preparing to seek Cabinet approval for the Bangkok–Phitsanulok high-speed rail project, the opening phase of a larger Bangkok–Chiang Mai corridor developed jointly with Japan, with construction slated to begin in January 2030.
