Japan's Ancient Asuka-Fujiwara Sites Gain UNESCO World Heritage Status
UNESCO has inscribed Japan's Asuka-Fujiwara archaeological sites, spanning 19 locations from the 6th to 8th centuries, onto its World Heritage List during a committee meeting in Busan, South Korea.
