Malaysia's MADANI Government Maintains Freeze on New Gambling Licences Since Taking Office
The MADANI government has not issued any new gambling licences since assuming federal administration in late 2022, the Ministry of Finance confirmed. All current licenses date from approvals granted in the 1990s and earlier.
