Samsung trims US workforce as consumer electronics unit relocates headquarters to Texas
Samsung Electronics has eliminated hundreds of positions at its US consumer electronics operations in New Jersey and Texas ahead of relocating its Americas headquarters to Plano. Most affected workers received relocation offers, though others were terminated.
