The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is set to prosecute an individual at the Shah Alam Sessions Court with 158 charges related to the unauthorised diversion of public funds as part of the Op Sutra investigation.

The prosecution marks a significant step in the anti-corruption agency's crackdown on financial misconduct tied to the operation, which has been examining a series of fund misappropriation incidents involving government resources.

The charges represent a substantial enforcement action by the MACC against alleged wrongdoing in the handling of public money, reflecting the commission's commitment to accountability in the civil service.
